I am unable to save layouts using Microsoft Excel as the display tool. I am getting the message "not enough system resources to display completely" We are using SEM-BW 3.2 and we have the Sap 620 GUI.
Mike,
The only time I had that message before was when I was working with an older computer with very limited RAM and I had multiple applications running. Sometimes there are some memory leakage when running some application and that could have an effect.
If this still occurs after rebooting the system, check how many RAM you have and it should be minimum 256MB if not higher.
Hope this helps,
Mary

Thanks for responses. Our BW group found an OSS note (774628) that resolved the issue.

Hi Mike, to double check Excel security, click on Tools > Macro > Security, and see if the security is set on high or something else.
In general that should not affect performance.
I would also recommend you try and install the 640 GUI.
