Reg: To Disable the print option in Payslip in ESS

Dear All,

Is it possible to disable the print and save option from ESS without ADS server or is there anyother way we can stop  showing the payslip in pdf format and show it in html format.

Please help me,client is admant in not having print or save option in payslip.

are you using smartforms then?

In WDA for interactive forms there was some possibilites in 702 +

as per note 1281087 - its not clear though whether this

functionality will completely ensure the buttons are not

seen or will disable "SAVE" as well

as "PRINT"

Please verify this note however.

Hello Prince,

We do have 4 types of ESS services. Starting with the oldest service

first, they are given below.

1) Based on transaction PZ11 and ITS - This gives HTML output

2) Based on transaction PZ11_PDF and ITS - This gives PDF output

3) Webdynpro JAVA-based ESS Payslip - PDF output

4) Webdynpro ABAP-based ESS Payslip - PDf output ( only from Ehp 5)

So if you do not want to use WDA based payslip, you can use the ITS based txn. i.e. pz11_pdf, You need to add this txn. in the Role SAP_EMPLOYEE_ESS_WDA_1, (please make a copy of this role first) then add this txn in Menu and then check it through NWBC.
