Extra req shown in md04

Hi All,

BOM structure :

13912145 [1 piece ]

     |

     |

13541829 [ 1 piece ]

There is a plan order for header material [13912145 ] for 45 pieces dated on 10/08/2012 .This plan order is manually created  .

For the same , dependent requirments of 45 pieces are created for the componet [13541829] , which is correct .

But I do see extra dependent requirments of 3*45 pieces are getting created on the same date 10/08/2012 , with same plan order .

What could be the possible reason for this extra dependent requirment's getting created ??

Dear Sireesha,

I would suggest you to choose the Pegged Requirement key(In MD04,click on the line item details and

choose the relevant key) of the line item to understand about the source for which the proposals has

been made.

Check and revert back.

Please check the BOM is it recursive BOM?

Hi,

As already suggested by other experts, please check the Pegged Requirements for the Component Material.

However, check the following points:

1. Use CS15 (multilevel) to find to which other Material headers this component is attached to

2. Check BOM of the Header and check whether it has any phantom material component attached to it and check the BOM of the Phantom Material.

Hi Sireesha,

Check the requirements for the same material with availability check in CO09 and try to compare if you can find some other requirement.
