Query Designer and WEB application Builder - Office 2003 problems

Has anybody had problems with Query Designer and Web application builder after Office 2003 has been loaded.

In particular Query Designer crashes with run time error 398 when invoked standalone or form the BEX Analyzer or Browser.

Web application builder crashes on exit with a similar run time error.

We have been pursuing problems with versions of Active X controls but I'm interested to know of any problems experienced.
