Query Designer and WEB application Builder - Office 2003 problems

Has anybody had problems with Query Designer and Web application builder after Office 2003 has been loaded.

In particular Query Designer crashes with run time error 398 when invoked standalone or form the BEX Analyzer or Browser.

Web application builder crashes on exit with a similar run time error.

We have been pursuing problems with versions of Active X controls but I'm interested to know of any problems experienced.

We have problems with it, and we have found this note,

but we haven't applied patch number 12 yet.

Thanks for your note David. This issue is currently with SAP Dev in Waldorf - I'll post an update here when we get some news.

Hello Neville,

If you are in a hurry, you should have a look at OSS Note n°819131 : "WAD: Runtime error 398 when you close a template".

It delivers 2 SAP files you can replace in your standard install and, in my case, it looks like it fixed the "Run-time error '398'" issue. A quick try should give you the answer...
