Specify Supplying Storage Location in STO

Dear Experts,

Assume I have a plant, 1000. Within the plant, there are three SLoc, 0001, 0002 and 0003, and they are the supplying SLoc (bulk storage location) for material A, B and C respectively (In real case, each storage location may be the supply SLoc for over 1000 materials). All three SLocs can stock all three materials. Although the three SLocs are the main supplying SLoc for A, B and C, they can still do stock transfer of a material from an non-supplying SLoc (e.g. 0003 can reserve material B from 0002). In the configuration of special procurement key, I've noticed that I can only specify the supplying plant, but not the storage location.

My question is, after MRP run, Stock Transfer PRs are generated for all three materials in all three SLocs. How can the storekeeper in each storage location know which material should they issue at the end of the day? (I assume storekeeper will be the one to do MIGO, that is to fill in the supplying SLoc)

Thanks,

Steven

it is up to the vendor from which storage location he ships the material to you.

The ordering plant does not need to know this.

the same logic applies to STOs, even you may know the supplying plant better.
