Hi Raju,
1.i would like to enter the activity times like setup time, machine time, labor time for each phase in pi sheet (like we do operation confirmation c011n)?
check below steps :-
1.Use instruction category PH_ACT & assign it to control recipe.
2.Before assigning this instruction category pls check your master recipe first you enter ur activities time in master recipe level.
Pls go though Bhaskar thread.
2.please also advise what instruction categories should be generally used for GI, GR, Confirmation in PI Sheets?
Generally in PI sheet configuration we use std characteristics.if you want any think new in characteristics then you create your custom characteristics.
GI:- CONS_D,CONS_5
GR :- PROD,PROD1,PROD1b

Hi,
PH_ACT does exist in O12C a nd it is standard. I guess the standard copy (using O20C and O21C) was not complete and hence you are not getting it. However, you can configure it in your system manually ( I would suggest the naming to be made as ZPH_ACT). Here are the screen shots below:
Details of PH_ACT is shown below:
Please check if the settings work ok for you

Hi,
For Activity Confirmation in a Phase, please follow the steps as mentioned below:
1. Use Instruction Category PH_ACT. Link it up with your CRD (Control Recipe destination)
2. Since the Instruction Category is '2' this will invoke the PI Sheet while you generate the Control Recipe in Process Order and the Process Instructions are generated. The scope of Generation in O10C should be 08 (For all variable Phase activities) for this Process Instruction
3. The Process Instruction PH_ACT is linked to PI_PHACT (check in O12C for PH_ACT) and PI_PHACT is Linked to Characterisitcs like PPPI_ACTIVITY.
Please check and revert back if this setting works or not

Bhaskar
