Hello,
We need modify authorizations at item level to assign a lot of users to the items. We have checked this option:
Use transaction RPM_DX_ITEM : the problem is this transaction also edit the item master data.
Is there any option to change only item authorizations in a massive way?
Thanks.
Sara
Does somebody have any idea how to achive this?
Thanks

Hi Sara,
Unfortunately, we do not have no option other than RPM_DX_ITEM.
But as mentioned by by you, it wipes the item data also if we update items using RPM_DX_ITEM.
There can be alternative, get all the data of items via dashboard extract or item table extract.
And populate the item details also along with the authorization. I agree that this is not the perfect solution.
Cheers
Amit
Hello Amit,
Thanks a lot for your answer... but really it is not very good solution, it is dangerous for us. We are checking the option to use substitutes.
The problem with substitutes is that one person only can enter substitutes for the items that he is the owner.
Is there an option to manage this in a global way? I mean, is there an option that a superuser can enter substitutes for items that he is not the ower?
Thanks for your help,
Sara
