Hi,
I can't create a connection configuration for datastore with HANA 1.x.
I have a Windows VM where HANA 1.x (64-bit) and Data Services 4.0 SP3 (64-bit) have been installed. I need to set up, in the VM, the connection to HANA in the datastore to test if existing Data Services job would work on HANA DB.
Even though HANA Studio was installed, I didn't see any HANA driver in the ODBC Data Source Administrator. So I ran "hdbinst.exe -a client" and then I was able to see the driver HDBODBC. I created a system DSN with it and successfully test the connection.
Then, in the Data Services Designer, I added a configuration for datastore using the data source. I selected "HANA" for Data Type and "HANA 1.x" for Data Version, and entered valid user and password. I set the Default configuration to Yes. I clicked OK to go back to the "Edit Datastore Datastore_name" window.
Now when I clicked OK again at this point, the Data Services is hanging with no response.
Does anyone know if I missed something or the issue could be in Data Services?
Thanks,
John
