FTP Communication Channel Advance mode table parameter "taskTimeout"

Hi Everyone,

I've have been searching about the advance move table parameter "taskTimeout" and i could not find enough information about it.

I found Snote Note 801926 - XI 3.0 File Adapter: Additional Parameters proving details on the parameters that could be keep in this area but nothing was mentioned about taskTimeout.

With this, i would like to ask if you could give me details about it? a link or reference perhaps?

Hi,

i think the parameter is called "ftp.timeout" and not "taskTimeout". This is described in note 801926.

Thank you for your insight

When I read note 801926, it also crossed my mind that taskTimeout is actually ftp.timeout like you said. However, this configuration value has been in our system for quite sometime already.

I have also found Note 1083488 - XI FTP/JDBC sender channel stop polling indefinitely(04/04S) where this parameter was mentioned and should be set but for JDBC channel.

Perhaps "ftp.timeout" is the same as "taskTimeout"?

Hi,

i don't think that a "fantasy" parameter would lead to an error. Note 1083488 mentioned the parameter explicit for JDBC.

I think you should replace the parameter with ftp.timeout.

you can find this option in std cc configuration, instead of going with Advanced parameters.
