We are experienceing a random problem with Broadcasting related batch jobs in the format BIBCASTDDR... hanging with little to go on besides a TCP/IP RFC connection related to our Portal also having a problem. The rfc is BWP_WINGVSBIP01_BWP when BWP is the SID. Behavior we are seeing is the RFC just spins when we attempt to do a connnection test.
When this behavior is seen the quickest way around it is to reset our Java stack via SMICM.
Any suggestions would be most appriciated.
