Hi Gurus
Our client needs to be able to run multi channel campaigns for a fixed Target Group on an adhoc basis.
Therefore there will be one Campaign.
For each customer in the Target Group:
* If they have an Email Address, they will be sent an email directly out of CRM using a Mail Form
* If they have a Cell Phone number they will be sent an SMS via an export file process which is then processed in PI
So is it possible that the same BP may receive both an Email and SMS as part of the same campaign.
Is this possible and how is it done?
I've looked at Campaign Automation and this doesn't appear to suit this scenario.

Hi Gurus
I found that in the SPRO set-up for "Define Communication Medium" I can create a new method call "Email & SMS" and then set 2 Communication Methods (Internet Mail & File Export), but the system chooses one of the other based on the priority I've set. Is there any Badi which can be applied so that it uses both?

Hope you are doing fine.
To fulfill your client requirement,you have to configure these things.
1. Select channel as Multi Channel while creating marketing campaign.
2. In bp creation, there is a field named Srtandard communication method in Communication section, select the mediums as in your preference(eg: first bp should get a mail, or second preference would be he should get an sms if these two are not possible then he sholu get a phone call) .
