Automatic TO Creation/ Confirmation in One Storage Type

Hi,

We have one requriement, actually in some storage type like 001, 002, 003, 004 we are properly maintaining WMS doing LT06/LT12, LT03/LT12. But in one Storage Type i.e. 005- is the Open storage and having only one bin under it with unlimited capacity. We want that automatic TO Creation and confiramtion LT06/LT12 at putaway and automatic TO Creation and confirmation at stock removal LT03/LT12 only in storage type 005.

No change in other storage type  001, 002, 003, 004means LT06/LT12, LT03/LT12 manually.

How to achieve above in only one storage type. in Storage type control data is we remove confirmation tick, then system is automatically confirming the TO, but system is not creating TO automatically.

Use OMKZ and define the Control Data and Assign Control sections like this:

Specify your destination type as 005. Make sure you enter the same value for Automatic TO in both sections.

Thanks for reply, I have done this, but now material belong to other storage type also going to 005 when doing migo.

Hi Rajeev,

You can achieve that by creating a reference movement type and special movement indicator. And the special movement indicator has to be maintained for the material(which needs auto TO create/confirm) in the material master in warehouse management 1 view.

Auto TO creation should be configured in IM movement type screen.

Auto TO confirmation should be configured in WM movement type screen.

Also stock placement indicator and stock removal indicator should be created and maintained for the appropriate material in the WM 1 view.

Hi Rajeev,

You will have to setup Automatic TO creation procedure in the following path:

OLML > Warehouse Management > Activities > Transfers > Set Up Autom. TO creation for TR's / Posting Change Notices

You will have to setup Mail user config so that errors during Auto TO creation are sent to this user mail. Then after completing the config, the report RLAUTA10 needs to be scheduled as a background job.
