Hi all,
is it possible to see why certain quantity was created in Purchase requisition created by MRP in case of none customer stock scenario?
Thank in advance,
Andrey
It is based on your settings made in material master and the stock/requirements situation.
Check in MD04

no no, I've checked all theoretical points already: material master, bom, reservations etc...
BOM has a change history and there are no changes for last several months, i was also not able to find any similar reservations. Purchase order quantity was created was 2000 pcs, while actual requirements are for 5 pcs... So i'm trying to find a root cause...
Andrey
true: also one finding, there are same situation for 3 different components, which are all form BOM for higher level assembly. And for all those 3, same quantity as 2000 pcs in the same Purchase order (Purchase requisitions are different).
MRP view's settings are standard; SU12 MRP profile, PE, EX, no Safety stock, no rounding values...
Andrey
What do you want me to say with PE ?
if that is your MRP type, then I dont know it, and it is not among the predefined MRP types
This is MD04, it is just telling you that the PO was rescheduled because of a shipping notification.
Further I can see that you have a reservations that would make the available quantity negative if the order was not there, so I can assume that those reservations actually triggert MRP to plant that material.
So it is still not possible to say why it planned 2000.
What values had you seen in OMI4 for EX lot size? I only have a S and E in the top 2 fields
In MD04, you should be able to see what the requirements are and for how much quanities was the PR generated.
