Document Management - How to activate the function of "upload files"?

Hello,

I have noticed that depending on the Document type, the option of uploading physical files in a Document Info Record is available or not.

I have tried to find this information in Customizing but no success.

Does anybody know how to enable the option of uploading files?

hi,

the only customizing I can think of here is the flag 'Use KPRO' which can be set for each document type in transaction DC10. However this flag only controls if the files can be uploaded in the content server (flag is set) or in the former storage types like SAP-SYSTEM, archive or vault (flag not set). But in DMS transactions like CV01N or CV02N the upload functions (open file, create file) are always

present.
