BW Loading Issue

Hello All,

        Two days back the master data load has failed because at the DTP level system has encountered duplicate records.

         DTP has extraction mode as  Delta.  "Handle duplicate record keys" is not checked..

         Maximum Number of Errors per Pack. is 100.  Number of duplicate records exceeded 100.

        On that day the transferred records shows as  450016 but the added records are 0.I can see the duplicate records in the error stack.

         After that day records got transferred and added successfully.

         My problem is how can I correct that delta which caused the duplicate records.

Can you do manual full load to make sure all records made it successfully? Also, why not check "handle duplicate keys" in DTP?

Hi Annu,

You have to see the error stack for the exact record. Then ask your ecc people to correct the data for that particular line. Then delete the requests which need to be reloaded. and launch DTP again.

Master Data should never be duplicate. So checking delete duplicate is a good option for the future.
