TPVS - Transportation Zone Hierarchy

Hallo,

I have just started learning TPVS. I created the Transportation Zone and Hierarchy and Maintained Transportation-Relevant Hierarchy.

However, I got the message : "Transportation zone Hierarchy not found" , when I executed the transaction "Interactive vehicle scheduling". Still I was able to run the optimizer and get some suggestion for the route or transport

After I removed the record maintained under Maintained Transportation-Relevant Hierarchy, the message disappeared but I don't see any change in the route suggested by the Optimizer.

I would like to know if this Transportation Hierarchy has any impact on route determination.

What is the use of Transportation Zone other than combining the shipments.

Also how to solve the message "Transportation zone Hierarchy not found", in a proper way.
