Hi all,
I'm trying to archive old productions order.
In CO78 - first step, I've a lot of production orders with the message "balance not equal 0".
As there are many orders with this message and as these are old orders (2008) it is not possible to do changes on them.
How can I force the archiving ?
thanks
Fred
Hi,
I know balance must be equal to zero but for orders from 2008 it isn't... and I need to archive them because of DB problems.
How can I calculate variance settle them without influence on 2012 ?
Period 2008 cannot be reopened.
Thanks

Dear,
Please refer the OSS note 140672 for Settlement in Previous period.
1. First check whether the balance yet to be settled for cost accounting is still of any interest, or if it is sufficient to archive the orders with the balance.
2. If you can archive the orders with the balance, change the indicator in the settlement profile from 'To be settled in full' to 'Can be settled' or 'Not for settlement'. As a result, there is no check as to whether the balance of the sender is equal to zero when you archive the sender.
3. If the balance of the sender is yet to be settled, check whether you can still reverse the preceding settlements. If you cannot reverse the preceding settlements (for example, the period is already closed), you can proceed as described in note 140672.

Hi
Prerequisit of archieving the order are balance must be zero, CNF and DLV must be active.
If there is balace then the variance calculation has not been done.

Fred,
Your order has not setteled. You can do that by calculating variance and then settled it. Has your order having system status "TECO" ?.
