Hi

We have custom UI5 application developed and integrated in SAP Portal.

As per the requirement we have to show "Session expire message" if user is inactive or idle for certain time around 5 or 10 mins time period.

How to achieve this with minimal code changes?

What are possible approaches for this requirement

I have searched didn't find concrete information on this.

Please provide your inputs on this.

Thanks

How about create a new portal application and set the timeout in the portal app. Setup a portal page with 2 iView (UI5 and the time out app) and point your access link to this new page. With this you will be able to achieve the timeout without changes in the UI5 application. Of course if there are other limitations you can just apply this code in your UI5 app.

You can use jQuery IdleTimer / jQuery IdleTimeout js for solving this issue.
