third party order process with variant configuration

Hi Experts!

I would like to ask for your help regarding Third party order process with variant configuration...

As attached here the line item order quantity on the sales order bom exploded during my SO creation. unfortunately the quantity being picked up for the bom component is not based on my configuration and the field is getting greyed out.. i am a pp specialist thus when i create such material my bom explosion for production is correct but what the reason my sales order bom is not getting my configurations... i've set object dependencies and used it on characteristics by linking the quantity characteristic to a reference char (stpo-menge)... my syntax is like this $self.project_qty=material_qty. i use it on pp bom and it works fine..

please help me...

got my problem solve... i've checked the bom header quantity and it is 1000 units. so i just changed it to 1unit and my configuration worked. it was a user mistake >.<

Hi,

Please check your "Item Category" in VOV7,Is this "Item Category" having Schedule Line Allowed or not.

If not ,Please check "Schedule Lines Allowed" and raise a New Sales Order.

I am not sure this is Filfull or not.

Let me know you have any doubts.

yeah i've checked vov7 with my item category taq and tae and the schedule line allowed indicator is ticked..

check the item category for TAQ here you make a settings at BOM/CONFIGURATION 

tab here you assign the

Config. Strategy : as 01

Mat. Variant Action- 1

Structure scope -    D

Application  -       SD01

variant matching - check activate

then you will try the sale order level , it will accept the configuration, and also check at variant configuration settings at material master ,

please check this and revert back
