Architecture Question (ISendMailService, Groupware packages,...)

Hello group,

I have an unstanding problem, that produce two questions:

General:

- where do i find the APIs (or at least an overview) over the portal-services delivered by SAP?

There are the Netweaver javadocs - but many portal-services (or repository services) are missing there.

- how do the APIs

com.sap.ip.collaboration.gw.api.framework.groupware (with e.g. IMailSendTransport, IMailItem, etc.) correlate with the services (e.g. com.sap.ip.collaboration.gw.api.service.mail.ISendMailService)

Does the service use the APIs? Why doesn't SAP offer the APIs of the services then - cause the developers use more often the services then the underlying apis - or didnt i get it? 😊

A last word to question one: An documented overview over the services would be really great - I just found the ISendMailService in an post of Guru Detlev - but nowhere in the APIs...)
