Hi Experts,
According the attached Budget profile, Budgeting is been maintained in Object Currency in our system. However I am having following concerns:
What is the difference of Controlling Area Currency and Object Currency?
If my Controlling Area Currency and Object Currency is the same, why I do get different values in CJI3?
What is the impact of maintaining currency types at “Available Control” and also at “Budgeting Currency” in Budget Profile?
In standard budget reports values are been shown in Controlling Area currency is there is a way to change this? I know we can use RPCO transaction to some extent.
Regards,
MS
HI All,
All the members rightly said. I had a similar issue long back. Since the Comany Code Currency is diferent form the Controlling Area Currentcy. Then all the budget related reports shows in the Controlling Area Currency. That time we had gone throgh some Z report.
Pl do the same.
Regards

In addition to everything mentioned above, please note that all the standard hierarchy reports in SAP are always shown in the Controlling Area Currency. This is standard behaviour.
If you want these report to be displayed in Object /Company code currency please use report painter to achieve this. Its very simple and can be easily done.

Hi Mark,
What is the difference of Controlling Area Currency and Object Currency?
Object currency is nothing but company code currency. You assign several company codes having with different currencies to a single controlling area. This controlling area has its own currency (check:OKKP).The R/3 system can derive the Co Area currency automatically from company code currencies or currencies from other Org. units.check the below given link for more details:

I think report painter (CJE5) can be a option to achieve your requirement. You may discuss this with your CO guy also.useful link is given below:

Also check SAP note 1628596 for the same.
Hope , it will clear your doubts.

Hi Mark,
Object Currency- it is the currency which is assigned to a object for example- cost center: while creating cost center master data you give INR as currency it is object currency.
Transaction Currency: It is the currency which is used at the time of craeting entries or transactions.
