regarding IDOC error

Dear All ,

In SAPR/3-XI scenario , I have triggered IDOC from SAP . IDOC is triggered successfully but in SAP XI only control record of IDOC is visible not the data record .

The error message in SAP XI is "Basic Idoc type does not exist" .

IDOC with status error 56 and 60 .

Do I need to create segment and basic idoc type in SAP XI .

Can you plz suggest why error is coming .

I have already defined port , rfc dest etc in SAP XI .
