Error Messge "Entry too long" on entering time field.

Hello Experts ,

   1) on entering the time on the UI i am getting the following errot , It is an value node attribute and type of that is TIMS. Error message is "Entry too long".

   2) Also i have drop down , on selecting an value in the drop down value is getting cleared off on any server event.

What is missing ?

Hi Nikhil,

1.Could you share with us the error message that you are getting by clicking on hyperlink of message?

2.Dropdown is maybe clearing because of leading zeros used as key.  If so in

get_xxx method use F.M  'CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT' before setting value.

Hello Rajarama ,

   Yes ,  the key which i was getting was 4 char and field length was 2 char. So it was showing error. Its nothing to do with the time field , there was problem with reason field drop down value. For that sake it was clearing the value too. THanks for your input.
