hi all,

please we need to remove * from S_Service(type and value) and instead limit access to certain DYPRO or iviews.

if i customized the SAP role example SAP_FI_TV_TRAVELER and remove * from s_service, what type and value need to be given instead?

welcome on the SCN Forums. When posting a specific query, please always provide your system information (what ECC; what stack, etc.) and elaborate as detailed as possible on what you want to accomplish and what you already did to accomplish this, so people don't post information to you that you already are aware of.

Now, concerning your problem: First of all, I highly recommend not to alter the standard role directly. Instead, copy the Role into a Custom one and alter it there. I understood you don't know what to enter in the S_Service object. To understand the structure you can use Transaction S_BCE_68001413. To find out what Service string the application actually expects, trace with ST01.
