Hi all,

I will set authorization for each reporting users

on rsecadmin screen I added 3 special characteristics(0TCAACTVT, 0TCAIPROV, 0TCAVALID)

after I tried to add 0SALES_OFF and activate the authorization object it gives the error below

No entries exist for characteristic/dimension 0SALES_OFF; correct this issue

I check the Sales office characteristics is an info provider.

has any of you encountered this error? Should I turn the feature "Info object is an Infoprovider" off and input the values manually? Do you think that fixes the issue?

thx a lot.

Eddy.

Hi everybody,

As you said, the info object is selected as Authorization relevant. The object is also an Info Provider. Is this the reason I receive this error?

On the other hand SALES_OFF has no Compounding, Attribute object,

I wonder how I can overcome this issue?

I appreciate your further guidance.

Eddy.

Hi Carl,

Try to load the data for the SALES_OFF and activate the object.

Thanks

Hi Eddy,

With reference to earlier post, now you have checked 0SALES_OFF as authorization relevant, next step is to maintain its details with operator (EQ, BT or CP) and values based on requirement

Screenshot:

" The object is also an Info Provider. Is this the reason I receive this error?"  Answer is No, reason for this error is Authorization details are not maintained yet.

Hi Eddy,

As replied by sidharth and Ramitha, 0SALES_OFF Char. should have Authorization relevant box checked and in addition to that you have to include other infoobjects from that infoprovider which have already authorization relevant checked, if applicable.

Is 0SALES_OFF marked as authorisation relevant?

Hi ,

As Sidharth said, is 0SALES_OFF is marked as authorisation relevant.

It should be done at info object level. In the Business Explorer tab of 0SALES_OFF check the radio button Authorisation relevant and activate it before proceeding further.
