Relation between Sub equipment and superior equipment

HI,

I am having issues with identifying the sub equipment assigned to an equipment in SAP tables. I am using table V_EQUI to identify the sub equipment assigned to a superior equipment. when I enter the  equipment number in (V_EQUI - HEQUI), I am getting all the sub equipment assigned to the superior equipment. But When I dismantle an equipment and assign the same sub equipment to another superior equipment it still shows up as assigned to the original equpment in V_EQUI. In other words V_EQUI is holding all the historic data.

Is there any way to find out the current sub equipment assigned to a superior equipment. I dont want all the historic data.

thanks found the answer. i have to use a date range of > or = today in (V_EQUI- Dateb) field.
