hi sagarika,
I thought your explanation was correct, but when i have done your steps don't run.
what is the value i have to add in the sender JDBC adpater in the field 'pool interval'? Now i have 120 seconds, and is active? Do I have to change anything else in the adapter?
please, can you help me?
thanks
summarize the steps I do, is there something wrong?
1) i modify 'poll interv' and change the adapter status to active
2) i create a new 'availability planning' an active.
3) open Communication Channels, and i can check the channel running
In this case the adapter should work from 14:17:00 for 4 minutes, but it is not because it runs 120 seconds (field 'poll intervall' from adapter). It does not take the values of planned.
can you help me please??
thank you very much.
As per your configuration, the ATP starts from 14:17:00 for 4 minutes. So, when the communication channel gets into active state then the poll interval will work for 4 minutes.
After that, the communication channel gets inactive. so, it will not process the data after that 4 minutes.
Hope u understand.
Hi Mariano,
Sorry for the late response.
Ingeneral the time period works in conjunction with the polling period used on the communication channel. so there should not be any issue here. in your case polling period on the communication channel is every 2 minutes and you have the availability from 14:17:00 until 14:21:00, then the channel will poll every 2 minutes from 14:17:00 until 14:21:00.
One thing to remember "the polling period is reset if a change is activated or the channel is stopped and then started on the runtime workbench". That may be the reason in your case.
Please do one thing, go back to communication channel monitoring and select the communication channel. There is an option for Automatic Control, and once you select it and your channel will turn off or on depending on the Availability Times that you configured.
Best Regards,
Sagarika
Hi,
As Amit says, I would set at Availability Time Planning (up at right corner in Com Channel Monitoring) that channel to be active at those times.
cheers,
Edu.
