Hi All,

I have one raw material which has base unit of measure as KG and in finish material BOM it is mentioned as component with unit as gram. During MF60 system is showing as unit KG which is ok. but during order confirmation for raw material it is showing unit as gram which I have mentioned in BOM. I want during CO15 it should show in KG (which is base unit of measure).

Summery: in bom component has unit of measure gram, in material master base unit is KG, during CO15 it should be KG.

Please guide on this.

Regards,

MAyur

Dear,

Please check the component issue unit of measure in MM02 in plant storage 1 view. Define here KG then you will have KG as unit of measure in CO15.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. In material master base unit of measure is KG, hence in plant storage 1 can not mentioned issue unit as KG.

Dear,

Define Unit of issue  KG in plant data storage 1 and then check the same as you have component in BOM as alternative UOM as gram.

Please try and come back.

BOM has higher priority than material master. Since you maintained gm as the unit of issue in BOM, it will show it has KG during CO15 (backflush).

Also, SAP recommends that you should have the smallest unit as the base unit of measure, else you will have rounding problems in future.

Dear,

Yes smallest unit should be your  base unit of measure. Other wise you have to change the BOM unit of measure as KG and quantity too.
