Hi  All,

I need help in ManagerDesktop configuration ,i  am  just new to this topic ,i need clear explanation.Now i need to create appraisals where my manger need to view all the apprasial detaials of his subordniates.

Not Easy if you doing for the First time , it Require Lot of ABAP , Workflow , Enhancement

Hi john ,

Thanks for u reply,but in our company appraisal system is already configured.but we didnt maintain any data.Now my task is to create appraisals for all the employees through some data uploading excel format who are not having ids in the sap ,and if the user is having id he can check by himself.

Now my question isPPMDT., here in this  transaction code ,how employees  can view apprasials,who are having id ,for this we should maintain any configuration steps in img.

personal administration ->manager desk top->enhancement of function codes.

Please let me  know is these steps are related to PPMDT .

Now my manager gave me a task

All depeartment head managers should view their  subordinate apprasial details.for this i should develop a screen and tell all the details to ABAPer .what technical fields i  should  explain him.where is the link appraisal details should be picked from.

For testing purpose i have tested an employee

1)first i maintained 25 IT for 'x' employee,then through transaction code PHAP_ADMIN_PA.i have created employee appraisals .

Hi Swathi

Manager Desktop (tcode PPMDT) was introduced in release 4.5 , which was Unpopular and Not used by many People ,

(A) In ECC 6.0 we are Using ESS and MSS which can be Used for Many Purpose Including Appraisal Process .

(B) like i mention Earlier there are two ways of Setting up Appraisal system through ESS MSS or Manual Method Through Authorization Control .

(C) you have Mention that Appraisal System is Already in Place . Plz me know how Does it Look like you can Mail the Screen Shots and Tcodes you Use for Appraisal Precess ..

(D) For Uploading the Data you can Create a LSMW or BDC Program .

But First let me know the Complete T coded and Screen shot so that i can Hep you Further ..

we have the appraisal Process through Authorization Control . I can Explain you the Process .
