costing sheet error

Hi

my client was implemented sap 5 years back still they are not using costing,now they want costing. for the purpose iam checking the some scenarios , i have run costing ck11n  plan OH is update   but the problem is actual OH not not updated is showing zero , any one can help me pls

Hi ,

As OH vale is not coming at the time of CK11N (standard cost estimate) ,Please check your costing sheet  and check the following

1.whether you have entered source cost elements correctly

2.Cost element category of overhead is 41

3.OH rate is maintained

4.Whether you have selected correct costing sheet in costing variant (OKKN)

Hi Ram,

Running CK11N is for updating the standard price of the Material and not for posting actula price of the material.

Once you have updated the standard price of the material through CK11N and released it through CK24 system calculates and records the standard price for the material.

If you need to get the actual price you will have to create production/process order against the material, do material confirmation against that and then run settlement process.

Let me know if you need more clarification.

Actual overhead will be executed with separate tcode in a month end.

Pls check whether you have executed Actual overhead tcode to the  order or not.
