MSS - Problem with IBO_WDA_INBOX

Hi all,

We are implementing the leave request approval with EHP6 and MSS Addon with NWBC.

Everthing is Fine, except the approval in IBO_WDA_INBOX.

I activated the New Standard Workflow and the Workitem (TS2150003) is Shown in Query 'Workitems'.

But if I execute the Workitem the approval wda application doesn't Start. Instead a Message appears

'Workitem Cañons be executed by Business workplace'.

The SWFVISU Customizing is there.

And One additional Question: Is a Maß approval for Workitems possible in WDA-Inbox?

SWFVISU customizing is not useful here.

Please make sure that customizing in following IMG path is completed for task types

Cross-Application Components -> Process and Tools for Enterprise Applications -> Inbox

Also note that there is a specific POWL delivered for leave request approvals. If you use that POWL then there is possibility to perform MASS Approval. The standard workitem POWL does not allow mass approval.

thank you!

I have checked the customizing. There are no entries maintained so far.

In the corresponding standard tables there are no entries either for the leave request

workitem.

Sorry, but I am new in this topic.

Can you tell me which entries have to be made? Or where I could find these details.

Leave specific POWL does not deal with other workitems but only leave requests (with or without workflow). However all POWLs are combined in one single application so user will always see the entire overview

Hi All ,

We are using SAP portal 7.3 with EHp6 ESS MSS Business package.

For leave application approval we are using Standard application "Time Approval and Task Reminder"

Leave is getting successfully processed (either approved or rejected) using this application.

User click on leave request from this application to process request.

But once window is closed in which leave is either approved or rejected user comes to above application in which refresh message is shown which remains there for long because of which user is not able to do any activity in this application and user has to logoff from portal to be able to go ahead with other leave request.(please find screnshot.)

Standard POWL configuration is used.

In the POWL_QUERY transaction check and change the "refresh type" property of MSS_POWL_LEA_APPROVAL query id.

Hi Sagar,

Thnx forr reply, currentlt refresh type of query is set as "On Every List Visit"  which is a standard one, should it be changed?
