We are currently on 720 GUI Patch 8, Bex 7 patch 3 We have business user that are trying to use exlcusion paterns that will not work for them. For example: profit center- the user is entering in the direct input (on the select value screen) *-001 and hitting the blue arrow, when it appear in the choosen selection screen it appears to be corect showing the [*]*-001 but if you hit o.k. and then return back into the same screen the exlcusion pattern is changed to not equals. This is giving the business users in correct results on their reports.
Is their a way that we can use exclude patterms in BEX 7 Query Analyzer in the select values for variables screen????
