Splitting of a file

Hi All,

I have a requirement where xml file is coming from the source having multiple records, now i have to do some field value checks like date is in correct format, the value should be greater than 4 and many more and if the validation is sucessful i have to pass that record to Idoc and if any of the validation fails then i have to create an error file with that invalid record.

Note: Suppose file is having 10 records and out of them 5 records are not fulfilling the validations then i have to create 5 idocs in ECC and rest 5 source records needs to be send to an error file folder.

Thanks

Vasant

      Hi Udo,

      Thanks for the reply.

I can also create the same set up in PO using multimapping having one receiver system with two inbound interfaces (one for Idoc and the other one for File).

      Regards

      Vasant

      Hi Vasant,

As multi mapping is not supported for IDOCs you can try the below scenario:

Use enhanced receiver determination mapping to check for valid (IDOC receiver)/invalid (Error file receiver) records and decide the receiver. Then create two message mappings one for IDOC and another for error file scenario. We need to create 2 interface determinations and 2 receiver agreement objects in this scenario.
