Remodeling issue?

I have deleted 3 keyfig's from the infocube through Remodeling .

i have collected the   Remodeling rule , updaterules , infocube , multiprovides on top of infocube into tranpsport request.

can any one explain what are the precautions need to take before and after trasnport in quality & production ?

Hello Soumya,

If you deleted the Keyfig's in the cube (it is no clear for me)

The most important is this:

1. you wont be able to move them to QA or PROD if the cube in those environments are not empty because the Infocube tables have data and can not eliminate any infoobject.

2. You will have problems with the actual queries from the Multiproviders that are displaying those KF.

3. If a formula exists considering those KF, the query will have problems and sometime, those queries will not work any more even with some adjustments.

I shouldn't recomment to deleted any infoobject that already exists in a Cube and in PROD. You can create new ones and delete the update rules or transformation for those you will not use any more.

The ideal sequence would be

1) Remodeling rule.

2) InfoProviders ( must reactivate).

3) Transformation (Update rule).
