BFC 10: administration console

Hi there,

I try to install bfc10 on ORA sgbd.

when i try to migrate my database Base1 in the administration console I have this message:

"No active machine found on data source Base1"

any idea?

Hello Ludovic,

You need to make sure the application server is active within the datasource.

See screenshot below

- on the datasource, select the "operations' tab

- then, there will be a dropdown option, called 'machine options'

- select the server(s) you want to active

- select the option 'activate selected machines'

Hello Mark,

thks for your answer.

the application server is activated and we have the following message:

Migration failed on data source Source_Name.

Failed to initialize server configured on machine Machine_Name.

Class not registered

any idea?

You need to install the 32-bit Oracle client on the application server

the 32-bit Oracle client has been installed. But we have the same message!

we are on

windows 2008 R2

Oracle 11gR2 64 bits

Oracle client 11g 32 bits

We forced the installation of the client OLEDB and ASP NET 32-bit, and it works well now.
