Generate AS2 Certificates!

Hi,

We have some AS2 scenarious running in our XI system.  We are currently migrating all interfaces to PI 7.1.1.

Have few clarifications on the certificates.

1. Can we use the same as2 certificates which was generated in XI system into PI.

2. If not, how do we generate new certificates in 7.1.1.

Any help would be appreciated !

If it is just an upgrade of PI and you are not changing SID, hostname etc, then there is no need to recreate the certificate. The old ones should work.

If everything is changing, you have to go to NetWeaver Administrator of PI and generate your certificates under "Certificate and Keys" option.

Hi,

Ingeneral we reinstall or change certificate if the third part certificate is going to expire or some changes in SID,hostname,sending port or in listening port etc.

As you just upgrade the PI, so no need to create or install new certificate.

if you are using third party certificate, you can use the same in new system.
