Building mySAP ERP test system in less than two hours

mySAPpers,

I have dabbled in ABAP programming but never had to install an SAP system before. Now, I need to build a test system with mySAP ERP. The test system needs to have HR and MM modules on it.

As far as I know, we have downloaded almost everything that is available for download at SAP service place.

I have two clean boxes ready and have already installed SQL Server on the box. Both the boxes have IIS running.

Although SAP service website has lot of documentation, I am looking for something simpler to follow.

Can someone please give me the installation steps or point me in the right direction?

Note that it is just a test system. So, I can live with the default configuration.

I would recommend reviewing the road map installation guides on service.sap.com/download. For example, the MySAP ERP 2004 implementation guide has good overview of the components required for this solution.

Thanks, Steven. I actually had looked at them before and I was confused with the amount of documentation. From my experience with installing many non-SAP products for years, after a while you simply know the steps you have to go through. I was hoping someone already has this list. However, I would definitely revisit the documents and see if I can build my old mini list of steps.
