Hi,

In one of our plant I can't change the 'price unit' in accounting view1 of mmo2,

it keep poping message that field price/cntl is reqd field and it doesn't contains any value... whereas price/cntl have S there,

So MM02 change not possible, it is a FERT material.

Any idea please.

Maintain a price with MR21, then change the control in MM02

Already tried MR21, but point is we have to change 'price unit' from 1 to 100 etc. in Acc-view1...

In MR21 we can't change 'price unit' but price....

So message is "The field Price/control is defined as a reqd field; it doesn't contain any entry"

Use SE16 at table MBEW

Only enter the material number, nothing else, and execute

you shuld see all valuation view data for any valuation area.

Now check any of the displayed records if the field price contr VPRSV is present with a value.

do the same check for field VJVPR and VMVPR

is this a new created material? how was it created, load program or manually?

I checked it today and found that there no value for the field VJVPR (it is blank),

whereas VPRSV and VMVPR has 'S'....

I have tested the same thing in another plant (same company code code), and that is working fine,

I able to change the 'price unit' in MM02, In that part also there is no value for VJVPR!!!

The parts has been created by a load program in both plants at a separate time.
