Hi,

We have been setup the MICR Checking Printing on ADOBE Forms(TROY MICR 13-B) on HP LJ Enterprise M605 Printer.

We are facing issues in printing the font and any help/suggestions would of great help. Details of issue below.

Current Setup:

The Printer HP LJ Enterprise M605 Printer has been installed as a network printer and no print Server.

ERP system has this printer setup with device type ZTROYMICR and access method U.

ERP System integrated with ADS, where pdf is tested successfully.

Issue Faced:

Testing the TROY MICR font printing using an Adobe form in SFP tcode. Adobe Livecycle Designer installed on Front end.

When printing using Adobe form, the squares around the letters doesn't get filtered and as a result they print the letters with the squares, which is not expected.

Actions Performed

To isolate if the printer works fine, we have the font installed on Computer, typed in Word document, which shows the squares around letters, but when printed, it works fine as expected. Hence vendor confirms it to be working and comments:

"you should only need to plug the hexadecimal calls into the appropriate place(s) in SAP to accomplish this."

I have been working in OSS ticket as well, so far, but still ongoing.

Below are the notes which have been referred in this process.

685571 - Printing SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe

1489570 - Set font mapping for PDF forms xfa.xci

94233 - Support of MICR font

1565508 - How to embed font on ADS server

489570 - Set font mapping for PDF forms

2018817 - IFbA: Available Font List by ADS

1939887 - Supported Output Type and xdc files

Please suggest, if any one has a working scenario of this one.

Thanks & Best Regards,

VY
