Working on 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL

Hi,

I am working on the extract structure 2LIS_04_P_ARBPL. I have created 2 PP orders at R/3 and I am trying to extract these 2 orders and load to the BW cube 0PP_C03 using the above extract structure. I can see the data record selected in the RAS3 transaction. But when i try to load the data , i see no data records in the PSA and naturally on the cube as well. Please suggest what could have gone wrong?

Jia

Hi Pavan,

Did you replicate the DataSources in BW. Also activate the InfoSources. Then Schedule Infopackage.

After you schedule the InfoPackage, can you see the green light in Monitor. If not, what messages are you getting.

Thanks.

Hi,

I was able to successfully load a set of 100 records earlier, with the same flow. Now I have created 2 production orders and now I want these 2 records in my 0PP_C03 cube. I was able to see the data records through the RSA3 transaction at R/3 side and at BW I replicated the data source and then tried to schedule the info package. After the schedule of info package when checked with the monitor, the data load is unsuccessful and also there is no data at PSA itself.

Can u explain me what I have to do at the R/3 side? and also at the BW?

Thanks, Jia.

Pavan

Are you useing any selection criteria in infopackage to upload only those 2 records? And what is the type of upload.

Hi Jia,

The error you described is a general source system connection problem. Right click on the source system in BW and click on activate.

Also, from the monitor in BW, select the failed request and then from the menu Monitor --> Transactional RFC --> In Source System. If it shows red lines over there, ask the basis guys to have a look.

Activating the connection should normally fix these errors.

Hello Jia,

Are you doing a full load or a delta load in BW?

Have you done a statistical setup after posting the two purchase orders?

Cheers

Hi Aneesh,

Steps what I followed are:

1)Did the Statistical setup in R/3

2)Checked in RSA3..data records available.

3)Replicated the Datasource in BW

4)Scheduled the Info Package

5)Selected the Delta Update

No data Packet at PSA

6)Also just did the Full Update , no data.

I get the following message:

Error when sending data request

Diagnosis

The request IDoc could not be sent to the source system using RFC.

System response

There is an IDoc in the Warehouse outbox that did not arrive in the ALE inbox of the source system.

Further analysis:

Check the TRFC log.

You can get to this log using the wizard or the menu path "Environment -> Transact. RFC -> In Data Warehouse".

Removing errors:

Check especially the authorizations for the background user in the SAP BW.

Please suggest.
