ESS:Talent Profile -> Internal Work Experience not the same as data captured in ECC6.

Dear Guru,

I have issue related data in Talent Profile - Internal Work Experience via ESS is not the same as data captured in ECC6.

Based on staff’s Talent Profile, staff was assigned to the “Manager” position effective 1 August 2012  but in ecc portal show diffrent for org assigmeant.ba

Appreciate your advise the the infotype call the same table as ecc in portal, could you share which table can we searching in ecc6 for internal work experienced and external work experienced.

Hi Mohamad,

Please check SAP note 1638292 (Incorrect data records for internal work experience). If that doesn't work, please answer these questions:

• What EhP are you running
• Does the manager have any gaps in his internal work experience (e.g. he left the company and came back

Dear Luke,

Thanks for your advise.I already follow SAP note 1638292 and i get access key from profiler.

When i'm trying click edit it show message

"Carry out modification comparison for METH CL_HRTMC_CP_BASIC_UTILITIES

GET_INTERNAL_WORK first. No changes possible

"

Below the currecnt EHP 4 we used.

ECC 6.0 EHP4 system

Good day to you.

Thanks for your advise sap note 1638292 and tcode SNOTE, it really help me to fixing for internal work experience at talent profile.

I have another issue related external work experienced not appear in the ess portal, data already updated in ECC6.

I already read oss note 1656228- Reading talent data:attachment are not read. I saw the symptom same as this note.Could you advise should use this note or have another note to i refer.

Hi Mohamad.

External Work Experience is only maintained in the Talent Profile for Employees and not in the backend. It is stored in infotype 7403. Please see this link for all of the infotypes in Talent Management:

Dear Luke,

I already check on infotype 23 it show data already maintained for previous employees.The data take from infotype 23 or 7403 that meant External Work Experience is only maintained in the Talent Profile for Employees, where do i find the Talent Profile.

As you mentioned, the data stored in infotype 7403 and check in table hrp7403

The Talent Profile for Employees can be accessed via ESS, Manager Information in MSS or Talent Information in TMS role.

I already implement the oss note 1638292 but when using the same position an create promotion for the position it show still not update the latest one, below i capture the step.

External work experince when i'm click edit on the subordinate it show different staff.This related on TREX search object connector or function call direct from the table.

Please check that the employee has the authorization to maintain HRP7403 (see role SAP_TMC_EMPLOYEE).
