Communication channel configuration

Hello experts,

We have a scenario, where PI has to pick file from it's local directory (File from sender system is placed through script in PI server) ,convert it to XML and place it in target system directory that is also mounted on PI. So, we are using NFS protocol for both sender and receiver side, can we use business service in this case on both sender and receiver end, since the file will be in local directory of PI ?

Also, while creating a sender file adapter, there is nothing available against the "Adapter Engine" parameter dropdown. What can missing in this case ?

i think yes you can use.in our project we are also using.
