Dear BW gurus,
I only need the snapshot of the PSA data in the cube. So, I would like to automatically delete my PSA request every time I bring data into the cube through the process chain. I have set up the delete PSA request variant with the following settings:
* technical name of the datasource/PSA,
* Src. System as *,
* older than 0,
* delete both successfully updated request and delete not updated requests
But, when I run the process chain, the request(s) does not get deleted.
Have you come across this before? What is the solution here? I appreciate your help.
It started working. I have noticed that if you place the Delete PSA Request towards the end of the Process Chain then it works. I have placed mine after rebuilding the index of the cube.
The PSA has to be deleted every time the data is loaded because the cube should have a snapshot of the data from the ECC table. I cannot have a double count in the cube. The users want real-time data in the cube.

Hi,
for PSA deletion, older than field should have value >=1.
Try by giving value as 1. and mark this thread answered if your problem is resolved.

HI,
If you put 0, which means you are not allowing the system to delete any data. It should be 1 or more days.

Hi Saurav,
Specify older than as 1 and try again.
