Implicit personalization

Hi All,

I am facing an issue.Some one had hidden some columns in a Table(LSO_RC_RESOURCE_HELP) by doing an implicit personalization in the quality system.But this personalization is not available in pre production client and the columns are vissible.Again in the production system,the columns are hidden.An entry is maintained in the table WDY_CONF_USER table for this web dynpro component LSO_RC_RESOURC E_HELPBut I am not able to see the User Settings option in my context menu in the portal.I f I want to delete this configuration,how can I do?How the implicit personalization has been done?

Hi Rohini,

1. But this personalization is not available in pre production client

     Did you check if the correspoding transport request went through pre-prouction correctly?

Right click on any of the UI elemets, then User settings->more->check the hidden fields

2. In some cases the configurations are role dependent. i.e based on portal role a specific configuration gets called. You can check the list of configurations under application configuration for that application in SE80.
