Change name of infospoke file?

Hello BW experts,

Can we add the current date each time we generate the file from the Infospoke.

I do not know if there is any direct functionality for it. Is it possible by any ABAP coding ..? Any suggestions appreciated. Wondering if there is any other alternatives for this.

Thanks a bunch,

BWer

You can use logical file names. Specify "logical filename" in the InfoSpoke maintenance and define the file in transaction FILE. It's very easy to add dates there (e.g. with placeholders <YEAR><MONTH><DAY>).
