RA run

Hi Experts,

Please let me know what exactly is the outcome of RA. I know theoretically it is used to calculate the balances and reserves.

But I want to know what exactly it means and how it is depicted/ shown after the RA Run.

Do we get the exact figures after the end or the values are automatically updated in the corresponding cost centers?

If anyone can attach the RA result screen also, that would be great.

Hi Nitisha,

RA is a periodic process which will determine the costs and revenues for a period, based on planned costs and revenues and the percentage of completion ( POC).

Comparing the period related values with the actual values gives rise, depending on the valuation method, to correction postings in Financial Accounting ( WIP, reserves)

Its very elaborative and not possible to provide in short note. I suggest better read the documents available in the forum or google where ever it is, then come up with specific questions this our friends are ready to provide suggestions.
