Code promotion for IS objects

Hi,

Currently using SAP IS4.0 SP2 version for Data profiling activity and created many rules & Cleansing package builder.

I have 3 environments like DEV,QA and PROD and no option available for code promotion in Upgrade management tool.

Please provide your suggestions on code promotion for IS objects from DEV--> QA & QA-->PROD.

In IS4.0 we use the export/import functionality for business rules. In IS4.1 there is new functionality for

export and import all project content (scorecards, rules, bindings, connections, tables, file formats,

Data Insight views, and profiling tasks).

Hi Marc,

Cant we use Promotion Management in CMC to promote the objects (Rules) across the environments, As i couldn't find an option for selection of rules? Is exporting and importing (in information steward) the only way to migrate/move the objects across the environments (DEV/QA/PROD)?
