HI,
Check the RFC connection between your Source and BI. You can do this in Source System Tab in RSA1.
Replicate again your datasource and try to activate.

Hi,
It seeems the issue is still there, let me give some detailed inputs..
If you get the message "RSAR502" is described in the SAP notes given below:
184586 - System change option and BW
150315 - BW-Authorizations for Remote-User in BW and OLTP
The possible reasons for error message RSAR502 in general are:
==============================================
Source system is not modifyable, Refere SAP note 184586
Lack of authorisations, Needed profile in source system is S_BI-WX_RFC and in BW S_BI-WHM_RFC (note 150315)
The RFC destination between the two system must be correct. Please also refer SAP note 807895.

Hi
Are you facing this issue for other data sources as well?
Have tried to run RSA3 for that data source in ECC system is the ds running fine?
As pointed out by Suman...check the RFC connections between the 2 systems.
you check the source system connection setting in Sm59 transaction or first try to check in BW system by right click and check. Its better to take help of BASIS to check the RFC connection settings.
Regards
KP
