Can anybody please explain cons and pros of having multiple and single controlling area.
All prerequisites are meeting for having one controlling area for all company codes but management is asking why to not have separate controlling area for each company code?
As per my understanding, one controlling area is useful for cross company code cost or management accounting.
But can anybody please explain what exactly cross company code costing is?
Is it really required?
If we go for separate Controlling area then what will be complexity?
