activity type

when i create task list, data in activity is coming by default. Is there any way to remove this setting.

Kindly  say with steps

If you assign the activity type in work center, while selecting that work center in task list, activity type will come automatically.

What is the reason you don't want that to happen??

actually while settlement of order  value was not coming 0,so Finance people told me that they have not done configuration for activity type( I have idea about this), so they told me not to take activity type at this moment

Then remove the activity type from work center, so no activity type will come either in task list or order. So no cost will be calculated.

Once they do the activity type configuration, then do the assignment, pricing. So that, you can get the cost for the future orders.
